Are you interested in learning about some new tools you could use in your classes?
Are you interested in being a mentor to teachers and educators who are just starting their journey with 21st century technology?

Welcome to the challenge Mrs King. The comments on the teacher challenge blog are moderated so I often have about 15 to check when I get up here in Australia.

I would like to participate. I need to pick up the speed and stop putting my foot in. Time to jump in.

Congratulations and best whishes for the Challenge! I would love to join you, but I’m just still struggling to be back on line again.
My father has been ill since mid-October; now he is in a senior residence, but I keep visiting him everyday, so that I only have time to cope with the wikis for school work.
I’ll be following you closely!

G’day Ines,
Great to hear from you again. Having to visit your father every day must not leave you time for much blogging at all.
PS. I might be over your way in late September this year. Hope to do a bus tour of Spain and Portugal.

G’day Miss W,
I’m happy to know you are coming! And I’m looking forward to meeting you “alive”!
Right now I’m publishing some of my students posts and gathering a small group that whishes to learn how to do it for themselves.
I’m following the Teachers Challenge with great interest and a bit of “nostalgia”…

Hope it’s not too late to join up in the blogging teacher challenge!
January 25, 2011 at 4:33 pm
Hi, I was wondering wether you can do these challenges at any time or are they only confined to set periods?
January 25, 2011 at 5:18 pm
G’day Fiona,
We are running the ‘Kick start your blogging’ challenge over January 2011, but the activities will then be put on a page so you can start them at any time. It is more interesting though, if doing it with friends and other educators as the discussions are very useful.
In February we will be looking at blogging with students.

Sounds exactly what I’m looking for!! I’ve had a blog (for personal use) for a few years now but am keen to use the skills in the classroom (and as I’ve got a new role as the school’s E-learning coordinator I’m keen to get other teachers involved too!)
thanks for this forum to help us!

Sounds great! Am coming in a bit behind the eight ball, but will see if I can get up to speed. Have been writing posts for huffpost for a while now and am in the final stages of putting together a website and blog for myself. My students have a blog that is just starting to gather some momentum, but we can use all the help we can get! Thanks for offering this!

Hi!
Wish I’d seen this a while ago, but wondering if I can do a quick catch up on teacher blogging (I’m in admin.) first and then move onto the following module.
Sure won’t hurt to try!
Thanks for this wonderful idea!

Just read about the Teacher Challenge. It looks like a great way to pick up new blogging skills. Even though I am starting out fairly late, I will give it a go and see where I get to with it all. Thanks for all the effort that’s been put into creating this!

Joining in with this second part of the challenge.

I am trying to get a blog up and running after having a fairly “static” website for many years. I’m going to be a latecomer to this challenge and try some of these activities.

Joining in late February. Guess it is best to start at the beginning especially when one has few skills.

Hello, I<m a teacher of English as a second language in Quebec. I was wondering if some of you will be interesting in a blogging project with my students. I am not sure of their level yet because it is for next year but it can be with your students that want to practice French as a second language or event practice their English skills through correcting and blogging with my students… (in fact, we learn 90% of what we teach)If you are interested reply to this message…
Thank you
please mention where are you from, the level of your students and what you expect through that project…
